Senior Digital Marketing Specialist

In the role of digital marketing specialist, you (together with your colleagues) will be responsible for all the ING brand and sales activities and innovations online. As this is our most important sales and activation channel, you will have a key role in helping ING grow to become a challenger of the big banks in the Czech market. We count on you to develop and execute the online strategy to build the ING brand, attract customers and optimize customer journeys.
The key responsibilities will include online marketing, management of web sites and maximizing of online sales in the Czech Republic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proposal and execution of a comprehensive online marketing plan that supports strategic plan and meets the organizations financial and non-financial objectives
  • Establishes, gain approval for, and manage expenses in accordance with an annual online marketing budget
  • Plans and adheres online sales targets
  • Manages the banks website(s), creates and manages content in coordination with Product Managers
  • Continuously monitors website traffic and identify opportunities for improvement in design, architecture and processes
  • Manages online advertising (planning, execution and evaluation) in cooperation with Marketing Specialist
  • Manages SEM (SEO and PPC) on regular basis
  • Edits company profiles in online databases and catalogues
  • Creates content and manages company presence on social media
  • Continuously analyzes data from web and campaign analytical tools, evaluates effectiveness of spending and proposes best solutions possible based on data
  • Deeply understands the local Internet community and constantly tests new ways of communicating with the target customer group
  • Monitors new online marketing trends and proposes their implementation in the business model
  • Identifies opportunities to cooperate with other online businesses
  • Supports product management in implementing targeted solutions if required
  • Collaborates with HQ and other countries online marketing teams, implements best practices

• Manages local vendors: online team of creative agency, digital media agency, affiliate sites, etc.

What We Require:

  • Fluent in Czech and English
  • University degree
  • 5+ years of online marketing experience
  • Outstanding understanding of online environment and tools (web design, display, PPC and RTB campaigns, Google Analytics)
  • Knowledgeable and eager to master the latest technological trends (e.g. social networks, mobile technologies, artificial intelligence)
  • Knowledge of banking environment (products and processes) is an advantage
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and instinct for revenue-generating activities, able to be hands-on
  • Distinctive problem solving and analytic skills, combined with impeccable business judgment and ability to communicate with IT colleagues/suppliers
  • Established network of contacts within internet/advertising/new media communities
  • Enthusiastic, precise, self-reliant, learning continuously
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Communicative person with highly developed analytical skills. Must be able to steer tasks pro-actively forward. Ability to work within team and supervise it (co-operate and communicate). Self-propelling and pro-active attitude with strong sense of ownership.
